Fo reals yo! But watching someone act like they know everything at that age is just too darn funny. :)

Today, Stephanie and I hiked the loop at Percy Warner Park and a peculiar thing happened. All of the sudden, just as we were rounding a corner, a terrible shrieking of howls and hisses filled the forest and lasted for nearly two minutes. Steph and I ran through the woods to investigate, thinking that someone or something had been hurt or maybe that a pack of dogs were fighting. Turns out, it was a pack of wild coyotes, probably ten or more, howling at the top of their lungs at the sound of a train off in the distance. It happened only a few feet from our path and it was easily one of the strangest and most spooky experiences I have ever had in the park. And it happened just before evening.
Then, I went home, dug a deep hole, stuck my mailbox post in it and filled it in with QuickCrete, a form of concrete that readily mixes with a simple garden hose. It was a sweat inducing task but one that desperately needed to happen at my house. I feel strong and accomplished and proud and still a little spooked from the coyotes. It was a weird day indeed.
Microcoasts designed by Spanish architect Vincente Gullart is a series of man made islands located on the east coast of Spain. These geometric wood islands allow people to experience a part of the coast that usually would not be accessible due to its rough surface, therefore extending the coastline. The islands can be adjusted in an upright position, so users can sunbathe, read and relax. (via Microcoasts at FormFiftyFive - Design inspiration from around the world

I would love to have this Mr. Miagi deck. :)
I didn’t get much sleep this weekend, but thanks for pointing it out.

Prior to big climbs of the Tour de France, riders in the 1920s shared cigarettes - thought to help respiration. from Time’s A Brief History of the Tour de France.Oh that is beautiful. I hope they don’t discover drinking water significantly inhibits leg strength.
How wackadoodle!

This made me smile :)
Just in time for summer, you, too, can own a cool luxury Bentley Laptop. Ego’s been making luxury laptops for quite some time, so it’s only natural that they ‘roll out’ (please excuse the obvious pun) this fancy schmancy laptop. The specs aren’t exactly as lovely as the car, so I’d suggest you save that spare 19k (£10,000) for something that will test-drive better than this snobby computer.
Yeah…what she said. But look how pretty!
Numbskull by Mark Kilner. The skull is covered with 630 paracetamol/acetaminophen pills. The piece is assumably inspired by Damien Hirst’s diamond-drenched (1,106.18 carats) and life-size skull entitled “For the Love of God”.
